Meet Our Practitioner – Michael Gulbrandsen
Listener of Nature’s Whispers
Michael’s fascination with nature started at an early age. He grew up in upstate New York with acres of woods and streams across the street. He spent the summers exploring and connecting with nature. He decided to use love of nature to study Landscape Architecture and Sustainable Design. After receiving his degree in 1995, he created Reflections of Nature.
Michael began to study the connection between renewing of inner self & spirit with spending time hiking on woodland trails or in sacred spaces. Utilizing a variety of timeless ancient traditions he created these sacred spaces on the land. Plants want to connect with the people of the land around them, so he instructs homeowners how to make this connection with Grandmother Earth and its inhabitants. This connection is made by listening to nature’s whispers, seeing the littlest details and feeling the magic of the forest.
Seven years ago Michael starting studying Shamanism and Energy Healing. During this time he studied Reiki, Herbalism, Sound Healing and is now a Shamanic Reiki Master. He also studied Feather Healing under Grandfather Bern Richards. His healing sessions are both indoors at his Poughkeepsie Office and outside experiencing nature first hand. During Michael’s healing sessions he may use any element from Nature on a client: feathers, branches, leaves, rocks, sounds, water, soil and in return he thanks nature by healing its plants.
“With Plant Aura Adjustments, we treat the plant with pruning, organic fertilizing and energy healing.” – Mike Gulbrandsen
